ディラン・ライリー

1997年5月2日、南アフリカ・ダーバン生まれ。幼少期にオーストラリアへ移住し、11歳でラグビーを始める。サウスポートスクールからボンド大学へ進学し、U20オーストラリア代表を経て、2018年に現・埼玉パナソニックワイルドナイツへ加入。2021年、日本代表に初選出され、同年オーストラリア戦で初キャップを獲得。2023年には、日本代表としてラグビーワールドカップ2023フランス大会出場。リーグワンでは4季連続で「ベスト15」に選ばれるなど、日本を代表するCTBとして活躍を続けている。座右の銘は「最高の復讐は大きな成功を収めることだ」。

Born in Durban, South Africa, on May 2, 1997, he moved to Australia in early childhood and began playing rugby at the age of 11. He attended The Southport School and later studied at Bond University. After representing Australia at the U20 level, he joined the Saitama Panasonic Wild Knights in 2018. In 2021, he earned his first call-up to the Japan national team and made his debut that same year in a match against Australia. After that, he went on to represent Japan at the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France. As a four-time consecutive selection to the League One "Best XV," he continues to excel as one of Japan’s premier centers. His motto: “The best revenge is massive success.”
